The Book of Life

In Revelation 20:15 we’re told that anyone who is not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. What is this book of life? When and how can one’s name be written in it? What can you do to make sure your name is there?

Ten Days of Repentance and Judgment

The time from the Feast of Trumpets through the Feast of Atonement is ten days, which pictures a period of God’s judgment and also repentance toward God for mankind to occur in conjunction with the end of this age and the beginning of a new age under the reign of Jesus Christ on the earth.

The Two Covenants — Part 6

When God entered into the Old Covenant with Israel at Mt. Sinai he told them that if they would obey his voice, his commandments, they would be to him “a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” (Exodus 19:6). They agreed to the terms of the covenant, saying “All that the Lord has spoken we will do” (Exodus 19:8). But the Old Covenant failed, and a new covenant was to be established to fulfill the plan of God for mankind. Why did the Old Covenant fail? What was missing? And how is what was missing in the Old Covenant accounted for in the New Covenant, so God’s purpose may be fulfilled?

And, does the replacing of the Old Covenant with the New free us, as many believe, from the obligation to obey God’s voice? His commandments?

The Christian Goal

Successfully following the path that God wants us to follow as Christians is knowing the primary goal we ought to pursue. Sometimes individuals — even in God’s Church — get sidetracked into pursuing a wrong goal into a blind alley, so to speak. We also need to follow the steps that can allow us to reach the goal of God’s kingdom.

The primary goal we are assigned as Christians is discussed in this sermon, and principles you can follow to successfully achieve it.

Why the Feast of Atonement?

The Feast of Atonement teaches vital lessons about God’s purpose and plan for mankind, and how fulfilling it relates to Christ’s sacrifice, and removing Satan from the scene.
