Follow God

The Bible has a lot to say about leading and following. And the Bible is very specific in telling us whom to follow. We are to follow God. Any other choices about this question are subordinate to that choice. Either we are following God, or we are not. And, as Rod Reynolds explains, the choices we make determine the answer to that question.

Apostasy is a theme that is found throughout the Bible. So, to understand the Bible, you must understand the history of apostasy and rebellion against the Creator. Humanity has been in a state of rebellion against God since the time of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. In Part 3 of his sermon series, pastor Rod Reynolds continues with a discussion of the captivity of Israel and Judah to foreign nations as punishment for their persistent rebellion against God. Also examined in this sermon are the apostasies of Gentile nations, such as the Chaldean empire.
